A taste of Beirut in Dubai: Check out this new Lebanese cafe

Dubai has never been short on Lebanese cuisine and Cafe Beirut are the new kids on the block!

The café – which opened its doors recently – is located in Downtown Dubai’s Al Murooj Complex. You can view the stunning Burj Khalifa from its terrace.

The chic restaurant offers an extensive and authentic Lebanese cuisine, starting from classics like aubergine moutabbal, warak enab, shaslik and sauteed chicken livers to a variety of grilled meats and shawarmas. Desserts range from Knafeh and osmalieh to Umm Ali bread pudding and more. Oh! did I forget to mention the all-day breakfast?

The inviting black and white checkered floors emulate the original cafe in Beirut as the dining area boasts a collection of monochrome portraits from the 1950s. Ornate features inspired by Beirut’s ‘golden era’ of busy streets and bustling culture include a ceramic water fountain and a picturesque garden with the world’s tallest building in the background.
