Abu Dhabi Sports Hub launches free access for all to its facilities
Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub (ADCSH) has launched ‘Sports Hub Cares’, a new community initiative offering free access to world-class sports facilities for residents across the emirate during selected hours.
The six-week programme, running until May 31, is part of ADCSH’s refreshed community strategy focused on accessibility, participation, and wellbeing.
Free sports access for all
In its first phase, running until April 29, individuals and families can enjoy complimentary sessions designed to encourage active and healthy lifestyles:
- Swimming – Daily from 9am to 12pm
- Padel – Weekdays from 9am to 12pm (rackets available)
- Tennis – Weekdays from 9am to 12pm
- Squash – Weekdays from 9am to 12pm
- Cricket sessions – Saturdays (9:30am–10:30am), in partnership with Zayed Cricket Academy and led by an ICC-accredited coach
The initiative aims to remove barriers to sport, making premium facilities accessible to a wider community.
Playfest carnival for kids
As part of the programme, ADCSH will host the 2026 Playfest Carnival on April 24 at Zayed Cricket Stadium.
The one-day event is a multi-sport community festival for children aged 4 to 11, bringing together young participants from across Abu Dhabi for a day of fun and activity.
Building a healthier community
Sports Hub Cares brings together a range of programmes and partnerships under one umbrella, aiming to deliver long-term social impact and promote inclusive, active lifestyles across Abu Dhabi.
