In the second match on Tuesday, November 18, reigning champions Deccan Gladiators opened their 2025 campaign with a six-run victory over the UAE Bulls after posting a towering 141/2, thanks largely to Tom Kohler-Cadmore’s outrageous 78 off 29, a knock packed with 7 sixes and 6 fours. His explosive partnership with David Wiese (35 off 17) set the Bulls a mountain to climb.

To their credit, the Bulls didn’t back down. Phil Salt lit up the powerplay with three consecutive sixes, Rovman Powell kept the tempo up, and Tim David nearly pulled off a miracle with a blistering 50 off just 26 balls.

But needing 21 off the final over, even David’s late push wasn’t enough. The Bulls finished at 135/5, falling just short.
