Need it now? Amazon’s new UAE service delivers groceries, gadgets, and more in just minutes

Running out of groceries, baby wipes, or your phone charger? Amazon’s got you covered,  literally in minutes.
The company has rolled out Amazon Now, its fastest-ever delivery service in the UAE, promising to bring your essentials to your doorstep in 15 minutes, and in some lucky neighbourhoods, as fast as six.

Available 24/7 across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain, Amazon Now lets you shop for everything from fresh fruits and veggies to electronics, personal care, and home essentials. The best part? Prime members get free delivery on orders over Dh25, while others pay just Dh6.

“Every innovation at Amazon starts with our customers,” said Ronaldo Mouchawar, Vice President of Amazon Middle East, Africa, and Turkey.

“Amazon Now is designed for their pace of life here, whether it’s last-minute groceries, a charger, or baby products, we’ve got them covered.”

To make it happen, Amazon has set up micro-fulfilment centres inside residential areas, small, high-tech hubs stocked with popular essentials. This setup cuts delivery times and even helps reduce traffic congestion.

And there’s more! Amazon’s new 2-hour delivery service is live too, covering 30+ categories, from groceries to gadgets. Prime members enjoy free 2-hour delivery for orders above Dh100.

Since launch, customer demand has skyrocketed, daily orders have jumped 40% month on month, with Prime members doubling their shopping frequency.

So, whether you forgot the milk or need that USB cable before your next Zoom call, Amazon Now might get it to you before your coffee cools.
