Fans of musical theatre in the UAE are getting a big one this December: Chicago is heading to Coca-Cola Arena for eight performances from December 16–20.

The production brings its signature mix of Jazz Age glamour, dark comedy, courtroom spectacle, and razor-sharp choreography, including crowd favourites like All That Jazz, Cell Block Tango, and Razzle Dazzle.

Set in 1920s Chicago, the story follows Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, two murderesses who turn scandal into celebrity status while competing for press attention and public sympathy. The musical’s satire on fame, media obsession, and manipulation is a huge part of why it has remained one of Broadway’s longest-running hits.

This also marks the first time a Broadway production will be held at the Coca-Cola Arena stage in Dubai.
