Dubai Municipality has announced a packed programme of Eid Al Adha celebrations across the city, featuring family-only beaches, free ice cream giveaways, live music performances and extended entertainment activities for children and families.

As Dubai prepares for the holiday break, several parks, beaches and tourist attractions across the emirate are set to transform into festive destinations designed for residents and visitors of all ages.

One of the most popular highlights this Eid will be the return of the Eid Gifts initiative, where complimentary ice cream will be distributed to visitors during the first and second days of Eid from 4pm to 7pm.

The giveaways will take place at several locations across Dubai, including:

  • Al Barsha Pond Park
  • Mushrif Park
  • Zabeel Park
  • Creek Park
  • Al Safa Park
  • Community parks across the city

Dubai Municipality said the initiative is aimed at creating a more festive atmosphere for families spending the holiday in the emirate.

Family-only beaches

Several beaches across Dubai will also operate as family-only zones during Eid, including:

  • Jumeirah 1
  • Jumeirah 2
  • Jumeirah 3
  • Umm Suqeim 1
  • Umm Suqeim 2
  • Khor Al Mamzar Beach

Live performances

Meanwhile, Dubai Frame will host live musical performances during the first two days of Eid between 4pm and 7pm, combining entertainment with panoramic views of the city skyline.

In Hatta Market, visitors can enjoy traditional performances by the Al Harbiya band on the second day of Eid from 4pm until 10pm, celebrating Emirati heritage and cultural traditions.

Children’s activities

Families with children can also head to Children’s City, where an extended entertainment programme will run during the first three days of Eid from 9am to 8pm. Activities will include theatre shows, workshops, interactive games, character appearances and educational entertainment experiences.

Dubai Municipality also confirmed that public parks, including Quranic Park, Zabeel Park, Al Mamzar Park, Al Safa Park, Creek Park and Mushrif Park, will remain open daily from 8am until midnight throughout the holiday period.

Authorities said inspection campaigns covering food safety, public health and recreational facilities have also been intensified to ensure a smooth and safe Eid experience across the city.
