Dubai is rolling out the Middle East’s first fully integrated recreational vehicle network, giving road-trip lovers a brand-new way to explore the emirate beyond the city skyline.

Called the Dubai RV Route, the initiative by Dubai Municipality will create a connected system of RV stations, serviced parks and scenic driving routes stretching across Dubai’s deserts, beaches and mountain landscapes, introducing a fresh model of outdoor, nature-based tourism.

The plan will see Dubai Municipality handle core infrastructure and regulations, while private operators are invited to develop and manage RV parks across the emirate. Officials say this public-private approach will help attract investment and fast-track the growth of RV tourism.

The move also supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, with authorities highlighting its role in diversifying tourism, promoting sustainability and positioning Dubai as a global destination for innovation-led travel experiences.

To encourage uptake, incentives and flexible financing options will be introduced to make RV ownership and rentals more accessible. The Dubai RV Route will be marketed locally and internationally, aiming to establish Dubai as the Middle East’s go-to hub for RV road trips.

Dubai Municipality has invited investors and partners to help shape the new RV tourism ecosystem, which promises unique outdoor experiences and a lifestyle boost for residents and visitors alike.
