Dubai Municipality’s Ramadan Souq is back in Deira this weekend
Dubai Municipality has announced the return of its Ramadan Souq. The fourth season of the event officially opens on Saturday, January 17, at the Grand Souq on Al Baladiya Street in Al Ras, Deira. The market will run daily until Saturday, February 15, giving residents plenty of time to stock up ahead of the holy month.
Designed to help families prepare for Ramadan, the souq offers competitive prices on everyday essentials, along with a wide range of items and gadgets to get homes Ramadan-ready.
Visitors can also find special products for Hag Al Laila, the Emirati celebration that takes place on the 15th of Sha’ban, just ahead of Ramadan.
This year, the Ramadan Souq is about more than just shopping. Alongside the stalls, visitors can enjoy live entertainment, workshops, and activities for children, making it a family-friendly outing. Additionally, pop-up markets are also expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The event will feature commercial displays of food, personal items, and lifestyle products, creating a lively atmosphere in one of Dubai’s oldest trading districts.
Ramadan is expected to begin on Thursday, February 19, based on astronomical calculations and guidance from the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department. As always, the official start will depend on the sighting of the crescent moon.
Open daily: 10am to 10pm (From Jan-Feb 15)
Location: Grand Souq, Deira
