Dubai rolls out Eid plan with family-only beaches, park events amid strict safety checks
Planning your Eid in Dubai? Here’s what residents need to know before heading out,
The Dubai Municipality has rolled out a comprehensive Eid plan covering beaches, parks, events, and even food safety checks to ensure everyone enjoys a safe and smooth holiday.
Some beaches now family-only
If you’re heading to the beach this Eid, note that several popular spots will be reserved for families only:
- Jumeirah 1, 2 and 3
- Umm Suqeim 1 and 2
This includes night beaches as well, helping create a more relaxed and family-friendly environment during the busy holiday period.
Parks turn into celebration hubs
As part of the “Season of Wulfa,” major parks will host evening Eid events from 4pm to 7pm during the first two days:
- Mushrif Park
- Al Mamzar Park
- Zabeel Park
Expect live performances, traditional sweet-making shows and fun giveaways—perfect for families with kids.
Meanwhile, Nad Al Sheba Park will host a special Eid event on the third day, featuring cultural shows, workshops and appearances by Modhesh and Dana.
For younger children, Children’s City will run interactive Eid activities including games, competitions and gift distribution.
Food safety checks
Behind the scenes, Dubai Municipality is stepping up inspections across restaurants, markets and malls to ensure everything you eat is safe.
Hundreds of food outlets, including those at Waterfront Market and Dubai Food Hub, are being checked, especially for popular Eid items like:
- Sweets and chocolates
- Nuts and baked goods
- Fresh fruits and vegetables
Inspections beyond food
The checks don’t stop at restaurants. Authorities are also inspecting:
- Hotels and pools
- Barber shops and beauty salons
- Fitness centres and shisha cafés
- Entertainment venues and cinemas
The focus is on hygiene, safety, air quality and overall public health, especially during the busy Eid period.
Clean city
To keep Dubai clean and running smoothly, thousands of sanitation workers and vehicles have been deployed across:
- Beaches and parks
- Roads and residential areas
- Tourist hotspots
Residents can report any issues through the Dubai 24/7 app or by calling 800900.
From family-only beaches to citywide safety checks, Dubai is going all out to ensure a fun, safe and well-organised Eid for everyone.
