Edwin McCain brings his “I’ll Be Tour” to Dubai as Muse cancels Abu Dhabi show
Dubai is getting ready for a night of heartfelt singalongs as Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Edwin McCain heads to the city for the very first time. The American hitmaker will bring his “I’ll Be Tour” to Coca-Cola Arena on April 12, promising an evening packed with emotion, memories and timeless love songs.
Best known for classics like I’ll Be and I Could Not Ask for More, McCain’s music has soundtracked weddings, first dances and love stories for decades. Often dubbed “the great American romantic”, his warm vocals and storytelling style have earned him a loyal fanbase.
The Dubai show also comes on the back of his first studio album in 15 years, Lucky, released in 2025. The record blends blues, soul, folk and rock, offering fans a mix of new material alongside the songs they know by heart. Joining him on stage is Arthur Nery, the Filipino chart-topper whose soulful sound adds even more depth to the night.
Fans can register for the exclusive pre-sale from Friday, January 16 at 10am.
Muse calls off Etihad Arena gig
Meanwhile, not all concert news is good news. British rock band Muse has cancelled their upcoming Abu Dhabi show at Etihad Arena, citing unforeseen circumstances. The band also pulled scheduled performances in India and Africa, apologising to fans and confirming that refunds will be automatically processed via the original payment method.
