Emirates adds Premium Economy to all A380 flights to New York JFK
Emirates has announced that from December 1, its flagship A380 flights EK201/202 on the Dubai–New York JFK route will feature all four cabin classes, including the Premium Economy.
The move expands Premium Economy options on the busy transatlantic route, complementing the existing EK203/204 service, which already offers the upgraded cabin.
Milan and New York upgrades
- Dubai–Milan–New York (EK205/206) will begin offering Premium Economy from 10 November 2025, joining Emirates’ other Milan service (EK091/092).
- This means travellers between Dubai and Milan can now choose Premium Economy on two daily flights.
- With the latest updates, all Emirates direct A380 services to New York JFK will now provide the four-class experience: First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy.
Expanding Premium Economy network
Emirates continues to scale up its Premium Economy offering across its fleet of A380s, B777s and A350s, aiming to serve 68 destinations by March 2026. Current routes include Sydney, Singapore, Osaka, Mumbai, and Bangalore, among others.
What to expect in Premium Economy
The dedicated cabin on the A380 is located at the front of the main deck, fitted with 56 seats in a 2-4-2 layout. Highlights include:
- Wider seats with a generous pitch for comfort on long-haul flights
- In-seat charging points and a personal cocktail table
- Specially curated dining menus and beverages
- Enhanced amenities to round out the in-flight experience
