Every parent knows the headache of travelling with kids on a plane. From making sure the little tykes stay in their seats to finding ways to keep them entertained, the task is truly Herculean.

Well, Etihad is enlisting Bugs Bunny, Sylvester and Tweety to give your kids the best flight of their lives!

Bringing in the cartoon experts

Etihad Airways today launched a new experience for families. The airline has partnered with the award-winning theme park, Warner Bros. World™️ Abu Dhabi, to launch a one-of-its-kind family-friendly experience onboard. 

Etihad’s new ‘Little VIP’ campaign aims to make travelling with children easy and enjoyable.

The coolest kids on the block, err flight

The first thing to note with Etihad’s ‘Little VIP’ initiative is the gifts and activity packs featuring iconic characters like Scooby-Doo, the Looney Toons and more.

What’s more?

The airline is also releasing a new line of gifts for children.

For infants up to two years old, parents will be given a soft fleece blanket decorated with the faces of Tweety, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Sylvester for them to take home.

Young flyers aged three to eight years, will be given a drawstring bag featuring an activity book, crayons, memory card game and passport holder.

Finally, tweens and teens aged nine to 13 will be delighted with a Scooby-Doo themed backpack featuring the Museum of Mysteries board game.

As if that wasn’t enough, kids will have access to kids’ movies, TV and cartoons on E-BOX. There’s also music, or games if they’d prefer something interactive.

No stone left unturned

In-flight, young travellers will be given their meals first for convenience, and diners will experience Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi themed dining equipment in bright colours. The menu has been created following suggestions from family fliers and will have hits like fusilli pasta with meatballs, waffles and pancakes.
