Sole DXB 2026: Dubai’s street culture festival sets December return

Dubai’s Sole DXB festival will return from 11 to 13 December 2026, bringing together music, fashion, art and sport for another weekend celebrating the city’s contemporary culture.

Organisers have confirmed the dates on the festival’s official website, although details of this year’s programme and artist line-up have yet to be announced. The festival, which has become closely associated with Dubai Design District, has grown into a major gathering for sneaker enthusiasts, musicians, designers and streetwear communities.

Previous editions have featured live performances, DJ sets, panel discussions, workshops and sporting activities, alongside showcases of independent fashion and lifestyle brands. Music has remained one of the festival’s biggest attractions. The 2025 edition featured international acts including Kaytranada, Tyla, Miguel, Lil Yachty, Loyle Carner, Pa Salieu and Tinariwen.

The line-up also included regional artists such as Zeyne, Shabjdeed & Al Nather and FREEK. Earlier editions have featured artists including Aminé, Ari Lennox, Busta Rhymes, James Blake, Lupe Fiasco, Tems, The Roots and Wu-Tang Clan.

Fashion and streetwear are another central part of the Sole DXB experience.

Previous festivals have included Spotlight by d3, which gives independent fashion and lifestyle brands a platform, as well as sneaker exchanges and vintage shopping. The programme has also placed an emphasis on conversations around the culture and people shaping fashion and design.

The festival’s talks programme has previously brought together figures from music, fashion, publishing and design. Past speakers have included Karl Kani, who is known for his influence on hip-hop fashion, and BMX rider and philanthropist Nigel Sylvester.

The 2026 speaker line-up has not yet been announced.

Sport is also expected to feature, although details of this year’s activities are still to come. Previous editions have included Sole Ball Above All, known as SBAA, and SKATE by Vice.

The festival is also set to bring back a specially built 374-square-metre skate area, continuing its connection with Dubai’s skateboarding community.

Food and drink will form another part of the weekend, with Sole DXB traditionally featuring a mix of homegrown and regional operators.

Previous editions have included Chef Halawa, Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori, Homer Lobster, Jailbird, Kitopi, Kooya, Mattar, Miss Lily’s DXB, Pickl, PINZA!, Project Chaiwala, Rascals, Seven Fortunes, West to West Kitchen and Za Za. With the 2026 programme still to be revealed, Sole DXB’s December return gives Dubai’s street culture community another date to put in the diary.
