Fuel price hike in UAE: How much you’ll pay at the pump this October

Motorists in the UAE will see slightly higher fuel prices in October 2025, as announced by the UAE Fuel Price Committee. The new rates will take effect from Wednesday, October 1 and remain in place throughout the month.

Revised UAE fuel prices for October 2025:

  • Super 98 petrol: Dh2.77 per litre (up from Dh2.70 in September)
  • Special 95 petrol: Dh2.66 per litre (up from Dh2.58 in September)
  • E-Plus 91 petrol: Dh2.58 per litre (up from Dh2.51 in September)
  • Diesel: Dh2.71 per litre (up from Dh2.66 in September)

The monthly adjustments reflect global crude oil price trends and directly affect motorists’ expenses. Rising fuel prices can also have a ripple effect on the cost of transportation and goods across the country.

The UAE reviews fuel prices at the end of each month to align domestic rates with international market movements. This monthly system ensures transparency and gives residents advance notice to plan their fuel budgets.
