Grammy-award winning composer A.R. Rahman to launch ‘Jamal Al Etihad’ at Sheikh Zayed Festival this Saturday

Start your UAE National Day holidays on a high note, A.R. Rahman is set to take centre stage this Saturday at the Sheikh Zayed Festival, headlining a special evening that will see the global music icon premiere Jamal Al Etihad, a new musical tribute celebrating the UAE’s values of unity, coexistence, resilience and hope.

Get ready for a magical night filled with music and celebration. Music maestro A.R. Rahman, together with Burjeel Holdings, will present Jamal Al Etihad, described as a song of hope from the UAE to the world. The live performance will take place on November 29 at 9:30pm, followed by a stunning three-minute fireworks display at 10pm, lighting up the festival grounds in true National Day spirit.

Conceptualised by Abu Dhabi-based Burjeel Holdings and composed by Rahman himself, the song is a UAE-born creative work aimed at resonating with both local and global audiences. Its launch at one of the nation’s biggest cultural festivals places the anthem at the heart of celebrations ahead of the 54th UAE National Day.

The two-time Oscar and Grammy winner will perform the piece live for the first time, accompanied by his team. The evening will also feature band performances and culturally inspired dance showcases, offering visitors a vibrant blend of music, rhythm and storytelling.
