Unfortunately, the laws of physics (or something, don’t ask us to elaborate) don’t permit the existence of a cake and a candle the size of Burj Khalifa but it’s the big boy’s birthday, and birthdays should be special.

It’s been 12 years since the world’s tallest tower appeared in the Dubai skyline and it’s been lighting it up ever since.

Wishing Burj Khalifa a smashing 12th anniversary and may it continue to make us feel like awestruck tourists every time we pass by it.
