How nol Plus makes your Dubai Metro ride more rewarding

If you’re a regular Metro, Tram or bus commuter in Dubai, your daily rides are about to pay off.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has just announced nol Plus, a brand-new loyalty programme that rewards public transport users with points every time they tap in.

Revealed on Monday, November 17, the scheme will let riders earn and redeem points at top destinations across Dubai, including shopping hotspots like Dubai Mall. And the best part? You can sign up right now through the nol Pay app, even before full details go live on Friday, November 21.

Gold, silver, and blue nol card holders will all be able to unlock rewards, so whether you’re a daily commuter or a casual traveller, you’re covered.

This isn’t out of the blue either. Earlier this year, RTA signed major MoUs with KHDA, Parkin and PayPal, signalling a push toward a more connected, cash-free future. Soon, your nol card could be used not just for transport, but for dining, parking, attractions, and more under one unified ecosystem.

With the Metro and Tram already central to the city’s eco-friendly mobility goals, nol Plus might be the nudge that gets even more people ditching paper tickets and enjoying perks while doing it.

Travel perk you shouldn’t miss
With Nol Plus, every Metro ride, bus trip, taxi fare or parking payment earns you points. Redeem them later as nol balance or even enjoy discounts at restaurants and stores. A simple way to make everyday travel pay you back.

Stay tuned for the full reveal on November 21, but if you want a head start, go ahead and get registered.
