Indian comedy show host Kapil Sharma is opening his cafe in Dubai this New Year’s Eve: Here’s what we know so far
Kapil Sharma is bringing his brand of warmth, humour and coffee to the UAE. The Indian comedian and Netflix star has announced that Kap’s Cafe will open in Dubai on New Year’s Eve, marking the cafe’s second international outpost after its popular launch in Canada.
The announcement came via Instagram, where Sharma shared a short video that opens with Dubai’s skyline before zooming in on the cafe, located in the Al Kifaf area. The clip ends with a smiling Kapil welcoming a guest with a cup of coffee, very on-brand and very Instagram-friendly.
Inspired by The Great Indian Kapil Show, Kap’s Cafe reflects the cosy, conversational vibe of his Netflix set. Early photos shared online show a soft colour palette of pastel greens and blush pinks, creating a relaxed, picture-perfect space that’s clearly aimed at fans and casual café-goers alike.
The Dubai branch is set to open on December 31, 2025 (from 4pm to midnight), making it a low-key but buzzy New Year’s Eve hangout option.
While the full Dubai menu hasn’t been revealed yet, the cafe’s Surrey, Canada location offers a mix of Indian and Western comfort food, think vada pav alongside pasta, plus a wide selection of coffees, teas and matchas. If Dubai follows the same template, visitors can expect an easygoing menu with something for everyone.
The cafe launch also comes at a high point in Kapil Sharma’s career. The latest season of The Great Indian Kapil Show has been performing strongly on Netflix India, clocking over 2.3 million views in its first two weeks and ranking among the platform’s most-watched non-fiction shows.
Fans in the UAE can look forward to ringing in 2026 with coffee, comfort food and a slice of Kapil Sharma’s on-screen charm.
