Katy Perry is set to bring her biggest pop anthems to Dubai this New Year’s Eve, headlining the spectacular gala celebration at Atlantis, The Palm on December 31, 2026.

The Grammy-nominated global pop star will take the stage at the luxury Dubai resort as guests gather for an extravagant countdown to 2027.

Perry will perform outdoors as part of Atlantis, The Palm’s black-tie New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner. Her set is expected to feature some of her best-known songs, including “Firework,” “Roar,” “Dark Horse” and “Last Friday Night.”

The evening will reach its finale at midnight with a major fireworks display lighting up the Dubai skyline, extending from Atlantis, The Palm towards Atlantis The Royal.

Perry has built one of pop music’s biggest global catalogues since making her Capitol Records debut with One of the Boys in 2008. According to the figures provided by Atlantis, she has accumulated 115 billion streams worldwide, alongside sales of more than 70 million adjusted albums and 143 million tracks.

She is also the first artist in RIAA history to have three Diamond-certified singles: Firework, Dark Horse and Roar.

What to expect at the gala

The black-tie celebration will begin at 6pm, with guests welcomed with canapés, drinks and roaming entertainment before the main outdoor gala gets underway.

Music will continue throughout the evening with a 30-piece live band, while the food offering will include an extensive buffet featuring lobster, caviar, sushi, live cooking stations, desserts and petit fours.

Families will also have dedicated entertainment options. The Asateer Tent will be converted into a children’s party area with a giant slide, bouncy castle, outdoor cinema, games, arts and crafts and other activities.

Kym Barter, Managing Director of Atlantis Dubai, said the resort was delighted to have Perry as this year’s headline performer, describing her as one of the world’s most recognisable music artists.
