Major Abu Dhabi music festival cancelled: Everything you need to know about refunds
OFFLIMITS Abu Dhabi has cancelled its 2026 festival, with organisers confirming that the event will return to the emirate in 2027.
The announcement was made on the festival’s social media channels on August 18. Organisers said all tickets will be automatically refunded through the original ticketing platform used for the purchase.
Ticket holders will receive further information directly from their ticketing provider, while the OFFLIMITS team will assist with the refund process where required.
Festival returns in 2027
The organisers did not provide a reason for the cancellation but confirmed their plans to bring the festival back next year.
“We look forward to bringing the OFFLIMITS community together again in 2027,” the festival said in its announcement.
The cancellation comes after the 2026 edition had already been moved to November 21 at Etihad Park on Yas Island.
Top artists in lineup
The cancelled edition was scheduled to feature an international lineup led by Shakira, Jonas Brothers, Ne-Yo and Biffy Clyro.
OFFLIMITS has built its identity around a multi-genre format, bringing pop, rock and R&B together rather than focusing on a single style of music.
For fans who had planned to attend this year’s festival, the immediate priority is the ticket refund. Further details are expected to be communicated through the original ticketing platforms.
