PAW Patrol Live is coming to Abu Dhabi for three days of family fun
If your weekend plans usually revolve around keeping the little ones entertained, there is a colourful new option arriving on Yas Island this September.
PAW Patrol Live! Heroes Unite is heading to Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena from September 11 to 13, 2026, bringing Ryder, Chase, Skye, Rubble and the rest of the familiar rescue crew to the stage for one action-packed family weekend.
The show will run across three days, with six performances giving families plenty of flexibility to pick a time that works around school, naps and weekend routines.
A PAW Patrol weekend on Yas Island
The first show takes place on Friday, September 11 at 5.30pm, followed by three performances on Saturday at 11am, 2.30pm and 6pm.
Sunday offers two more options at 11am and 2.30pm, making it possible to turn the visit into a relaxed daytime outing rather than a full-day commitment.
For families with younger children, the morning shows could be the easier choice, while the Friday and Saturday evening performances may suit parents looking to fit the show around their weekend plans.
What happens when the pups hit the stage?
This time, the PAW Patrol crew has a new problem to solve.
In Heroes Unite, Mayor Humdinger creates clones of Robo Dog, setting off a new rescue mission for Ryder and the pups. The team must track down the clones and restore order — with plenty of music, comedy, audience interaction and stage effects along the way.
The production is designed to bring the animated series to life rather than simply recreate an episode, giving young fans the chance to see their favourite characters performing in front of them.
For children who already know their Chase from their Marshall, that familiarity could make the live experience even more exciting.
An indoor family plan as September heats up
The timing is also part of the appeal.
September in the UAE can still be too hot for spending long stretches outdoors, making an indoor theatre experience an easy way to plan a family day without worrying about the weather.
And with Etihad Arena located on Yas Island, families can potentially build the show into a bigger Yas outing — whether that means an early lunch before the performance or keeping the rest of the day deliberately light.
For those driving in from Dubai, it is worth allowing some extra time for the journey, parking and getting everyone settled inside the arena. With young children in tow, a few additional minutes can make the difference between a relaxed arrival and a rushed one.
Tickets start from Dhs95
Tickets for PAW Patrol Live! Heroes Unite are listed from Dhs95, with prices varying depending on seating and availability.
Parents planning to go as a group may want to book early if sitting together is important, particularly for the more popular weekend performances.
It is also worth checking the latest ticket conditions, seating information and venue rules before booking, especially if you are bringing a stroller or younger children.
Which show should families choose?
There is no single best time — it largely depends on your child’s routine.
The 11am performances could work well for families with younger children who are at their happiest earlier in the day. The 2.30pm shows offer a middle-ground option, although they may overlap with nap time for toddlers.
For older children, or parents fitting the event around work and other weekend plans, Friday at 5.30pm or Saturday at 6pm could make for an easy evening outing.
Whichever slot you choose, arriving a little early should leave enough time for bathrooms, snacks, finding seats and settling in before the show begins.
One for the September family calendar
With its short three-day run, PAW Patrol Live! is less of a long-running attraction and more of a one-weekend family experience — ideal for parents looking for something different to put on the calendar before Abu Dhabi’s autumn events season gets fully underway.
And for children already obsessed with the PAW Patrol universe, seeing the rescue pups leave the screen and appear on a live stage could make this one of those weekend outings they talk about long after the curtain comes down.
