The exemption is valid from May 1 to October 1, 2026.
Who is eligible?
To qualify for visa-free entry, travellers must:
- Hold a valid foreign passport
- Have maintained a valid UAE residence permit for at least three consecutive years
- Arrive in Montenegro on a direct flight
- Present proof of a hotel booking or organised tourist programme
- Stay for no more than 10 days
More visa-free options for UAE residents
Montenegro joins a growing list of destinations offering simplified entry for eligible UAE residents. Depending on nationality and residency status, countries including Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Uzbekistan also provide visa-free access, visas on arrival or e-visas.
The latest move is expected to make Montenegro an even more attractive option for UAE residents looking for a hassle-free European summer getaway.
