Ras Al Khaimah to ring in 2026 with record-breaking New Year’s Eve spectacle
Ras Al Khaimah is pulling out all the stops for New Year’s Eve 2025, promising a record-breaking celebration to welcome 2026. The highlight? A jaw-dropping 15-minute fireworks display stretching across six kilometres of coastline, featuring one of the largest single fireworks ever launched, aiming to secure a new Guinness World Record.
The night sky over Marjan Island and Al Hamra Bay will come alive with more than 2,300 drones, some equipped with pyrotechnics and lasers, forming intricate, high-tech patterns. This spectacular show is inspired by themes of strength, renewal, and Ras Al Khaimah’s spirit of progress, blending advanced fireworks, glowing drones, and laser effects into a dazzling visual experience.
Two chances to celebrate:
- 8pm at Corniche Al Qawasim: A family-friendly early show perfect for residents and visitors to kick off the celebrations.
- Midnight at Marjan Island & Al Hamra Bay: The main event, combining creative fireworks, large drone formations, and immersive lighting to welcome the new year in style.
