Sharjah launches new direct flights to Ahmedabad with SpiceJet

Sharjah Airport Authority and Indian low-cost carrier SpiceJet have announced the launch of a new direct flight route between Sharjah and Ahmedabad, further strengthening air connectivity between the UAE and India.

The announcement was made on Friday, with Sharjah Airport confirming that SpiceJet’s inaugural flight now connects the emirate with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad.

Five flights a week are scheduled

According to Sharjah Airport, the new route will operate five flights per week, offering passengers greater flexibility and more travel options between the two destinations.

In a statement shared on X, the airport said the service would enhance convenience for travellers while reinforcing aviation links between the UAE and the Republic of India.

Officials highlighted the importance of the new route in supporting passenger demand and expanding regional air connectivity.
