Tired of gardening in Dubai summer? New app lets you book pros in seconds

Dubai residents will soon be able to book licensed home gardening and landscaping services directly through the Careem app under a new government-backed initiative launching in September.

Called Al Freej Gardener, the initiative is led by Dubai Municipality in partnership with Dubai Police, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs, and Careem.

The service aims to regulate the home gardening sector by connecting residents with licensed and qualified professionals through a single digital platform.

Residents will be able to book a range of services, including home gardening, routine garden maintenance, irrigation system installation and repairs, landscaping, and agricultural consultations.

All participating companies will be required to meet government licensing and regulatory standards, giving residents greater confidence when booking services.

Officials say the initiative will improve service quality, enhance safety and security, encourage sustainable gardening practices and make it easier for homeowners to access trusted gardening experts across Dubai.
