Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways is celebrating India’s Independence Day and has launched a special promotion targeting passengers from India, with a special discount of 30% off Economy Class fares to destinations across the United States and Europe.

Departing from major Indian cities, travellers can fly to Chicago, Washington DC, Toronto, Barcelona, Dublin, and more at reduced rates. Other destinations include New York, Rome, Brussels, Prague, Warsaw, Paris, Munich, and Frankfurt.

The offer is valid for bookings until August 15, with travel dates between September 2025 and March 2026. Sample one-way Economy fares start from AED 2,036 to Barcelona, AED 2,149 to Dublin, and AED 3,149 to Washington, DC.

This promotion follows Etihad’s summer campaign and comes at a time when carriers are rolling out competitive pricing for winter travel.

Meanwhile, Etihad has also introduced its new Airbus A321LR into service, offering the airline’s signature premium experience on shorter and medium-haul routes. The aircraft’s first commercial flight from Abu Dhabi to Phuket took off last week, marking another step in the airline’s fleet modernisation programme.
