If you hear a familiar roar overhead this Saturday, don’t be alarmed; it’s a moment of national pride.

The UAE Armed Forces, alongside Fursan Al Emarat, the National Aerobatic Team, will take to the skies for a sweeping aerial display across all seven emirates to mark the Day of Resolve on January 17.

The flypast will begin in Abu Dhabi before moving across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Qaiwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, featuring an impressive mix of fighter jets and helicopters.

Observed every year, the Day of Resolve honours the UAE’s values of unity, determination and solidarity, while reaffirming the nation’s steadfast support for its leadership and armed forces. Expect powerful visuals, thundering flyovers and a reminder of what brings the country together.
