UAE schools shine on global stage in prestigious education awards

Three UAE schools have been named among the top 10 in the world across various categories of the 2025 World’s Best School Prizes, recognising excellence in innovation, sustainability, and community impact.
Dubai British School Jumeirah Park, Arbor School Dubai, and Applied Technology High School, Umm Al Quwain Campus are finalists in one of education’s most respected global competitions, run by T4 Education.
Celebrating Innovation, Sustainability and Community
The awards honour schools that are transforming education beyond the classroom. The UAE finalists were recognised in the following categories:
- Dubai British School Jumeirah Park (DBSJP) – Community Collaboration
Celebrated for deep partnerships with parents and the local community to create a thriving educational ecosystem. - Arbor School Dubai – Environmental Education
Based in Al Furjan, Arbor earned its spot for weaving eco-literacy into its curriculum and cultivating sustainability as a core value. - Applied Technology High School – UAQ – Innovation
Recognised for its project-based, career-focused learning model that equips students with real-world skills for the future.
Winners to Be Announced in October
The World’s Best School Prizes span five categories: Innovation, Environmental Education, Community Collaboration, Overcoming Adversity, and Supporting Healthy Lives.
Winners will be selected by a judging panel and announced in October 2025, while the public can also vote for a special Community Choice Award.
Global Spotlight on UAE Education
All three UAE schools will be invited to speak at the World Schools Summit in Abu Dhabi on November 15–16, where they’ll showcase their best practices to education experts from around the world.
This recognition reinforces the UAE’s growing role as a regional leader in progressive, student-focused education.
