UAE travel: Etihad takes off to four new routes from Abu Dhabi to Tunis, Hanoi, Chiang Mai, and Hong Kong

Etihad Airways is on a roll, and quite literally flying high this November! In just three days, the UAE’s national airline has launched four brand-new routes connecting Abu Dhabi to Tunis, Hanoi, Chiang Mai, and Hong Kong, adding more ways for travellers to explore the world while boosting Abu Dhabi’s role as a global hub.

It’s part of Etihad’s record-breaking year, contributing nearly 45% of the UAE’s total aviation growth. That’s huge, and a clear sign that more travellers than ever are choosing to fly via Abu Dhabi.

Here’s what’s new on the map:
Tunis  – A new bridge to North Africa’s culture and charm, with three weekly flights connecting UAE travellers to Tunisia’s heritage-filled capital.
Hanoi – Six weekly flights now connect Abu Dhabi directly to Vietnam’s lively capital — expect vibrant street life, rich history, and amazing food.
Chiang Mai – Four weekly flights open up Northern Thailand’s lush mountains, night bazaars, and serene temples to Middle East and European visitors.
Hong Kong – Five weekly flights reconnect Abu Dhabi with one of Asia’s most dynamic business and leisure hubs, complete with Etihad’s codeshare with Hong Kong Airlines for smoother Asian connections.

With these new routes, Etihad now flies to over 85 destinations worldwide, linking people, cultures, and opportunities, and making Abu Dhabi a must-visit stop on any travel lover’s map.
