Eid Al Fitr just became extra special for thousands of UAE workers as a massive prize giveaway showered them with incredible rewards, including a brand-new car!

In a heartwarming gesture to recognise the hard work of the country’s labour force, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), along with government partners, pulled out all the stops to celebrate the festive occasion. 

Over 100,000 workers across the nation took part in the grand raffle, where prizes ranged from e-scooters and smartphones to shopping vouchers, but the biggest winner of the night? Rubel Ahmed Samsad Ali, who drove away in a brand-new car!

MoHRE took to social media platform X to share the exciting moment, stating: “This initiative is part of our commitment to bring happiness to our workers, highlighting their pivotal role in building our nation’s developmental journey.”

Held across 10 locations in the UAE, the celebrations were packed with fun, including sports, games, folkloric performances, and plenty of gifts. From Abu Dhabi’s Mussafah and Al Mafraq to Dubai’s Jebel Ali and all the way to Fujairah’s Al Hail Industrial, workers gathered to enjoy the entertainment and take their shot at winning big.

Social media videos showed thrilled workers cheering as MoHRE officials handed out prizes, turning the celebrations into a true festival of joy.

With the event slogan “Our Workers Are the Pulse of Our Achievements,” the UAE once again proves that its workforce is valued.
