US comedy star Whitney Cummings is coming to Abu Dhabi: Here’s when she performs
Abu Dhabi’s comedy calendar is getting another big-name boost, with American comedian, actor, writer and podcaster Whitney Cummings joining the line-up for the third edition of Abu Dhabi Comedy Season.
Cummings will perform at Etihad Arena on Yas Island on January 31, 2027, with British comedian Paul Smith also taking the stage at the venue later that day.
The two comedians will perform separate shows, giving fans a rare chance to catch two international comedy names at the same venue on the same day.
The event is being organised by Live Nation Middle East, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral.
Who else is coming to Abu Dhabi?

Cummings joins an already packed line-up of international comedians.
The current schedule includes Morgan Jay on October 11, Russell Peters on October 25, Mo Amer on November 6, Maz Jobrani on November 7 and Paul Smith on January 31.
Organisers are expected to announce more comedians and performances as the season continues.
Who is Whitney Cummings?

If you’ve watched US comedy over the past decade, chances are you’ve come across Cummings’ work.
She created the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls, which she co-created with Michael Patrick King, and also created and starred in NBC’s Whitney.
Beyond television, Cummings has appeared in numerous films and TV shows and has released six stand-up comedy specials.
She has also worked behind the scenes as an executive producer on ABC’s Roseanne and hosts the popular podcast Good For You.
Cummings is currently touring with her Big Baby stand-up show, which is scheduled to run through 2027.
When and where is the show?
Cummings will perform on January 31, 2027, at Etihad Arena, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
Her performance is part of Abu Dhabi’s growing international comedy programme, which is bringing a mix of established comedy stars and rising performers to the capital.
And with Paul Smith performing at the same venue later that day, January 31 could be one very funny day at Etihad Arena.
