Want a front-row seat to Dubai’s NYE fun? Here’s how late parks and Dubai Frame stay open

Dubai is pulling out all the stops to make sure residents and visitors ring in New Year’s Day in fabulous style, with extended park hours, special events and plenty of outdoor spaces open late for everyone to enjoy.

As the city prepares for a night of record-breaking celebrations, Dubai Municipality has announced extended opening hours for public parks and recreational spaces on December 31, 2025, and January 1, 2026, giving residents and visitors more time to soak up the festive vibe.

One of the biggest highlights this year is at Dubai Frame, which will host fireworks and a first-ever drone show, adding a brand-new spectacle to the New Year’s Eve lineup.

Dubai Frame timings

8am to 9pm
Visitors can enjoy panoramic city views by day and stay for the evening celebrations, featuring fireworks and drone displays that light up the sky.

Major parks stay open late

Several of Dubai’s most popular parks will extend their hours well past midnight, making them ideal spots to unwind or celebrate outdoors:

  • Al Safa Park: 8am to 1am
  • Zabeel Park: 8am to 1am
  • Creek Park & Mushrif National Park: 8am to 12am
  • Al Mamzar Park: 6am to 12am

Residential parks and plazas

Neighbourhood parks and public plazas across the city will remain open from 8am to 12am, giving families and communities plenty of space to gather.

Children and educational parks

If you’re heading out earlier in the day with kids, note these timings:

  • Children’s City: 9am to 8pm
  • Quranic Park:
    • Park: 8am to 12am
    • Cave & Glass House: 9am to 8.30pm

Lake and pond parks

Perfect for evening strolls and late-night celebrations, lake parks will stay open until 1am. On December 31, extended hours also apply to several popular spots, including:

  • Al Barsha Pond Park
  • Al Twar Pond Park
  • Al Nahda Pond Park
  • Al Khawaneej Pond Park
  • Ghadeer Al Tair Pond Park
  • Umm Suqeim Park
