Wine, dine and fly: World’s first winery flight to take off soon

Auckland’s borders have just re-opened after 119 days and it’s time to celebrate.

Invivo Air is to be the world’s first winery airline.

The maiden flight will take off in early 2022 from Auckland to Queenstown in a chartered 34-seater Sweedish-built Saab aeroplane. Complimentary tickets on ice — sorry, on deck — for selected guests owners of Invivo,Time Lightbourne and Rob Cameron are inviting Aucklanders to register their interest online at Invivoair.com.

Priority seats will be given to Auckland hospitality and tourism staff that have been impacted by the lockdown, members of the public who haven’t seen their South Island family or friends due to lockdown restrictions.

Selected guests will enjoy a 24-hour line-up of special experiences by Invivo and partners in Queenstown, here’s where it gets better, including a stay at The Hilton Queenstown.
