Fans of razor-sharp comedy are in for a treat as Jimmy Carr returns to Dubai this summer with his latest stand-up tour, Laughs Funny.

The British comedian will perform two shows at Dubai Opera on Saturday, August 29, at 6.30pm and 9.30pm.

What to expect

Known for his quick-fire one-liners and dark sense of humour, Carr’s live shows combine brand-new material with plenty of audience interaction, meaning no two performances are the same.

The Laughs Funny tour has already played to audiences across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the US.

A Familiar face for audiences

Carr is one of the UK’s best-known comedians and television personalities, with credits including 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Big Fat Quiz of the Year and, more recently, LOL: Last One Laughing UK.

He’s no stranger to Dubai either, having performed several sold-out shows in the emirate, including an appearance at the Dubai Comedy Festival in 2023.
