Dubai has a new luxury hotspot: Marsa Al Arab brings superyacht-inspired resort to city

Dubai’s latest luxury destination, Marsa Al Arab, is now open, bringing a superyacht-inspired resort to the city’s coastline. The new hotel joins the iconic Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Burj Al Arab to complete a trio of stunning waterfront landmarks.

A Stay Like No Other

Marsa Al Arab offers 386 rooms and suites, 82 serviced residences, and a marina with space for 82 yachts. Guests can enjoy top-notch restaurants, a relaxing spa, and indoor and outdoor pools. Prices start at Dh6,100 per night for a marina-view room, climbing to Dh20,425 for a grand ocean suite—expect even higher rates during Eid.

For those who want the ultimate luxury, the five-bedroom Royal Suite is a 1,048 sqm space with a private plunge pool, massive terrace, entertainment lounge, gym, and telescope to admire the Burj Al Arab skyline. The price? Still a mystery.

Designed for Elegance

Created by architect Shaun Killa, the hotel is inspired by the world’s finest yachts. The interiors feature marble, handcrafted silk carpets, and custom crystal lighting. Guests staying in the hotel’s residences get stunning views of the marina, ocean, or Burj Al Arab, with apartments ranging from 79sqm to 229sqm.

The lobby is a spectacle in itself, with a dazzling chandelier made from 1,500 seashell-shaped crystals and over 300 artworks decorating the hotel.

Foodie Paradise

With 11 restaurants and four bars, Marsa Al Arab has something for everyone. The Fore is a standout, changing throughout the day to offer four different dining experiences in one. Umi Kei serves Japanese dishes inspired by the art of kintsugi, while The Bombay Club—  curated by Michelin-starred Chef Manav Tuli — brings authentic Indian flavours. Madame Li serves Asian fusion dishes, and Iliana offers a Greek-inspired retreat with a rooftop bar and private beach.

Relax & Recharge

The Talise Spa spans three floors, featuring a 20-meter indoor pool, gym, and 13 treatment rooms. Advanced therapies like Cryotherapy and Hyperbaric Oxygen treatments are also available. Families with kids can check out the dedicated Family Club for children aged 3 to 10.

More Than Just a Hotel

Marsa Al Arab is also a cultural hub, collaborating with local and international artists, galleries, and museums. Its ‘artist in residence’ program ensures that creativity is always part of the guest experience.

Whether you arrive by car or yacht, Marsa Al Arab is more than a place to stay — it’s a destination that offers luxury, world-class dining, and a taste of Dubai’s extravagant lifestyle.
