Dubai Police cycling challenge returns with Dh90,000 prize money
Cyclists across Dubai are being invited to gear up for the fourth edition of the Positive Spirit Cycling Race, organised by Dubai Police with prizes worth a total of Dh90,000.
Set to take place tomorrow, Saturday, May 9, at Dubai Autodrome, the event is open to men, women and children aged five and above, making it one of the city’s most family-friendly community sporting events.
The race forms part of the Positive Spirit Council initiative, which focuses on encouraging healthier lifestyles and stronger community engagement through sport and social activities.
Participants will take on a fast-paced 10km criterium-style race held on a closed circuit, designed to create an exciting and competitive atmosphere across multiple age categories.
The cycling action begins at 6pm, but the event goes beyond racing. Families and visitors can also enjoy a range of entertainment and awareness activities, including traffic safety sessions, K9 demonstrations, luxury police patrol displays and live performances by the Dubai Police band.
Officials say the event is aimed at bringing the community together through fitness, fun and positive social interaction.
