New dates announced for CATS the Musical in Abu Dhabi
Good news for theatre fans in the UAE: CATS the Musical is officially back on the calendar in Abu Dhabi after being postponed earlier this year.
The globally loved production will now take over Etihad Arena from June 4 to 13, giving audiences another chance to experience one of the world’s most iconic musicals live on stage.
Originally scheduled for May, the show was delayed following regional disruptions that affected several live events across the country. Now, organisers have confirmed the new dates, and tickets start from just Dh90.
Created by legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, CATS has remained a fan favourite for more than four decades thanks to its unforgettable music, elaborate costumes and high-energy choreography.
Audiences can expect all the magic that made the musical a worldwide phenomenon, including the famous song Memory, oversized theatrical sets and the playful feline characters inspired by T.S. Eliot’s poetry.
The production has been staged in more than 30 countries, translated into 15 languages and watched by over 73 million people worldwide.
Weekday ticket prices begin at Dh90, while weekend tickets start from Dh160, with several seating categories available.
The show is recommended for children aged six and above, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult over 21.
Tickets are available now via Etihad Arena.
