Flydubai adds Santorini, Mykonos, Batumi and more to summer flight lineup

Dubai budget airline flydubai is rolling out a fresh wave of seasonal routes across Europe, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea region, giving UAE travellers plenty of excuses to swap their city heat for beaches, islands and cooler mountain air over the next few months.

The summer expansion is already underway, with flights resuming to a string of popular holiday destinations including Corfu, Tivat, Antalya, Bodrum and Olbia.

Then come the Greek islands. Flydbai added direct services to Mykonos, Santorini and also Dubrovnik. These three destinations practically define summer travel mood boards. Think whitewashed villages, seaside dinners, sunset views and long days hopping between beaches and cafes.

From June 20, travellers will also be able to fly directly to Al Alamein in Egypt, a destination quietly becoming one of the region’s most talked-about summer beach escapes thanks to its turquoise coastline, luxury resorts and growing nightlife scene.

A few days later, on June 26, flydubai will launch flights to Batumi and Trabzon, both ideal for travellers chasing cooler weather, green landscapes and slower-paced summer trips away from crowded tourist hubs.

For UAE residents, the new routes arrive at exactly the right time. As temperatures continue climbing across the country, demand for quick escapes traditionally spikes heading into Eid and the wider summer holiday season.

And with many of these destinations reachable in just a few hours, the new network also opens the door for shorter weekend breaks rather than only long vacations.
