Those seeking a job in sales can heave a sigh of relief.
Jobs and roles of marketing executives, accountants and sales managers are on top of the list of UAE employers who wish to hire in 2022, a new survey has revealed.
The survey was carried out by Bayt.com and YouGov. It showed that 34 per cent of employers stated that they were looking for candidates with sales and marketing experience. Around 31 per cent employers are looking for candidates with mid-level experience and 30 per cent want those with managerial experience.
Over three-quarters – 76 per cent – of UAE employers have a plan to recruit new staff in 2022.
They want the candidates to have good communication skill in English and Arabic (57 per cent), be a team player (46 per cent), ability to work under pressure (41 per cent) and good leadership skills (38 per cent).
The most sought-after academic qualifications required are business management (32 per cent), engineering (29 per cent) and commerce (22 per cent).
