It was a pleasant surprise for the around 50 gardeners and landscape staff of The Greens and Views Community when they were asked to take a break from work and then taken in two mini buses for a sumptuous lunch at a restaurant in Al Barsha.

The Golden Age group of the community, comprising over 100 senior citizens, teamed up with Emaar Community Management (ECM) to organize the lunch. The party was held to celebrate the International Day for Human Fraternity that falls in the first week of February.
The gardeners were warmly welcomed at the Al Barsha restaurant, which is popular for its traditional Pakistani dishes. There was a lavish buffet spread out for the guests.

Naseem Durrani, the founding member of the Golden Age Group, was quoted as saying: “We feel extremely fortunate to be living in an Emaar community that not only looks at redefining lifestyle for its residents but also extends the same to its community staff, who are made to feel equally important. This is just one of many initiatives Emaar takes to honour its community staff, and gives us also a chance to serve the community.”
The gardeners relished the food and thanked the Golden Age Group and Emaar for the meal.
