UAE travel update: Flight suspensions continue, India’s new entry rule
Travellers flying to and from the UAE should check their flight status before heading to the airport, with several airlines extending schedule changes while India has introduced a new health declaration for arriving passengers.
Here’s what has changed.
Singapore Airlines
Flights between Singapore and Dubai remain suspended until October 24. Affected passengers can request refunds or rebook their travel.
British Airways
The airline has extended its flexible booking policy for Dubai services until October 31, allowing eligible passengers to change or cancel bookings.
New rule in India

Passengers travelling to India must now complete the Air Suvidha 2.0 digital self-declaration within 24 hours before arrival. The measure follows the WHO’s public health alert over the Ebola outbreak in parts of Africa.
UK travel advisory
The UK has updated its Middle East travel advice, warning that the regional security situation remains unpredictable. Travellers are advised to monitor official updates and follow local authority guidance.
