Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, is set to expand its line-up of DC-themed attractions with the addition of two new Superman-inspired experiences, operator Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences have announced.

The first attraction, Kryptonite Collider, is scheduled to open on 26 July 2026 and will take visitors on a high-speed journey through Superman’s fictional home city of Metropolis. A second attraction, Superman Up and Away, is currently under development and is expected to open in 2028.

The additions form part of the indoor theme park’s wider expansion strategy, aimed at enhancing its entertainment offering and attracting more visitors to Yas Island, one of the UAE’s leading leisure and tourism destinations.

Jonathan Brown, Chief Portfolio Officer at Miral, said the new attractions represent another stage in the evolution of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.

“The introduction of these DC-themed attractions reflects our continued commitment to delivering memorable experiences for visitors,” he said.Mr Brown added that the expansion further strengthens Miral’s partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery and supports Abu Dhabi’s ambitions to grow its tourism sector.

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, which opened in 2018, features a range of attractions based on characters and franchises from DC Comics, Looney Tunes and other Warner Bros. properties.
