What happened to the Swedish House Mafia Dubai show?
Fans eagerly waiting for Swedish House Mafia to take over Dubai this month will have to wait a little longer. The group’s highly anticipated season-closing performance at Ushuaia Dubai Harbour Experience has officially been postponed, with organisers confirming that a new date will be announced soon.
What was originally planned
The show had been scheduled for Saturday, May 16, and was expected to be one of Dubai’s standout electronic music events of the season.
The trio, Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, were set to headline the closing party at the open-air venue, with tickets starting from Dh195.
The event had also been highlighted by Visit Dubai as one of the city’s major live music events for the month.
No new date yet
As of now, organisers have not confirmed a replacement date or provided further details on the postponement. Fans who already planned to attend are being advised to monitor official channels from Ushuaia Dubai Harbour Experience for updates regarding rescheduling and ticket information.
A major name in dance music
Swedish House Mafia remain one of the biggest names in electronic music, known globally for hits such as Don’t You Worry Child, Save the World and Miami 2 Ibiza.
The postponement comes as fans were gearing up for what was expected to be a high-energy finale to Dubai’s outdoor music season.
