Air Suvidha 2.0 mandatory for UAE-India flights: Everything you need to know
India has made Air Suvidha 2.0 mandatory for all international passengers arriving in the country. The upgraded digital health self-declaration portal has been launched by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in collaboration with Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) to strengthen health screening at international airports.
Travellers flying from the UAE to India must now complete an additional pre-arrival requirement before boarding their flight.
The requirement follows the World Health Organization’s (WHO) declaration of an Ebola (Bundibugyo virus) outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda.
Here’s how to complete the Air Suvidha 2.0 form before you travel.
Step 1: Keep your documents ready
Before starting the form, make sure you have:
- Passport
- Flight details
- Address in India (or overseas, if applicable)
- Valid email address
- Mobile number
Step 2: Enter your travel details
Fill in your:
- Passport information
- Nationality
- Flight number
- First airport of arrival in India
- Transit countries, if any
- Travel history for the past 21 days, including visits to Ebola-affected countries
Ensure all information matches your travel documents.
Step 3: Verify your contact details
Enter your:

You’ll receive a one-time password (OTP) to verify your contact information before proceeding.
Step 4: Complete the health declaration
If you declare travel to or exposure in Ebola-affected countries, you’ll be asked additional health-related questions, including any symptoms or possible exposure.
Passengers who have not travelled to affected countries can complete the declaration without additional health screening questions.
Step 5: Review and submit
Before submitting:
- Review all the information you’ve entered.
- Read the statutory declaration.
- Confirm that the details are accurate.
- Provide consent for your personal and health data to be processed.
Submit the form once everything is complete.
What happens after submission?
After successfully submitting the form, you’ll receive:
- A registration number.
- An acknowledgement.
- A confirmation email.
Save a digital copy or print the acknowledgement, as you may be asked to present it to airport health officials after landing in India.
Depending on your declaration, an Airport Port Health Officer (APHO) may carry out additional health screening on arrival.
