Over the coming months, some of the biggest names in Indian music, international tribute acts and globally acclaimed performers will take to stages across Dubai, with venues including Coca-Cola Arena and Dubai Opera hosting a packed lineup of concerts. From Lucky Ali’s long-awaited return and Sunil Grover’s comedy extravaganza to Bismil’s intimate Sufi-inspired performance and the symphonic comeback of the Gipsy Kings, music lovers have plenty to look forward to. Here’s a roundup of the concerts worth adding to your calendar.
1. Bismil and Indian Ocean

Dubai’s live music calendar is adding another major event this summer with Indie Soulfest, bringing together two of India’s most celebrated musical acts for a one-night-only performance.
Taking place at Coca-Cola Arena on Sunday, July 26, the concert will feature Sufi-fusion singer Bismil as the headline act, with pioneering fusion rock band Indian Ocean opening the evening.
Known for blending poetry, storytelling and contemporary Sufi music, Bismil has built a devoted following through songs exploring love, longing and self-discovery. Organisers say his performance will recreate the intimate atmosphere of traditional mehfil and baithak gatherings on a large arena stage.
Indian Ocean, regarded as pioneers of India’s fusion rock movement, will perform their signature mix of folk, classical and jazz influences.
The concert forms part of this year’s Dubai Summer Surprises entertainment programme.

2. Lucky Ali

Fans of Lucky Ali will have the chance to relive some of Indian music’s most iconic songs when the singer returns to Dubai this August.
The singer-songwriter will perform at Coca-Cola Arena on Sunday, August 16, in a concert expected to feature many of his biggest hits spanning more than two decades.
Audiences can expect favourites including O Sanam, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, Ek Pal Ka Jeena, Safarnama and more.
Known for his soulful vocals and introspective songwriting, Lucky Ali remains one of India’s most enduring musical voices, with songs that continue to resonate across generations.

3. Sunil Grover

Indian comedian and actor Sunil Grover is set to perform in Dubai this August, bringing his popular characters and live comedy act to Coca-Cola Arena.
The show will take place on Friday, August 21.
Grover is best known for creating memorable television characters including Gutthi, Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi, while also earning acclaim for his film and television work.
Fans can expect an evening packed with observational humour, celebrity impersonations and audience interaction.
The event is organised by Midas Events and Eva Live Middle East, in partnership with Milestone Entertainment and Hear & Soul Productions.

4. God Save The Queen

Fans of Queen can look forward to a night of classic rock when internationally renowned tribute act God Save The Queen makes its Dubai debut.
The band will perform at Dubai Opera on October 5 as part of its international tour.
Fronted by Pablo Padín, whose vocals have drawn comparisons with Freddie Mercury, the group has staged more than 1,000 performances worldwide.
The concert promises faithful recreations of Queen’s biggest hits including Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, Somebody to Love and Radio Ga Ga.
Organisers describe the production as a full-scale theatrical tribute featuring live musicians, authentic costumes and large-scale visuals.

5. Gipsy Kings Symphonic

The Gipsy Kings, led by founding member André Reyes, are returning to Dubai with a brand-new Symphonic production at Dubai Opera.
The concert takes place on October 22 and marks the group’s first orchestral theatre performance in Dubai.
The show will combine the band’s signature flamenco guitars and vocals with full symphonic arrangements, offering fresh interpretations of classics including Bamboleo, Volare, Djobi Djoba and Un Amor.
Having sold more than 60 million albums worldwide, the Gipsy Kings remain one of the most recognisable names in world music.
