No shaking hands! Anti-Covid measures put into place
’Tis the season for parties, events, and more! However, remember that coronavirus still lurks, so be wary.
To stymie the spread of Covid-19, the UAE has announced a raft of measures for events and parties happening across Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
First off, people will be prohibited from shaking hands. Venues have also been instructed to cap their capacity at 80 percent and must check temperatures when guests enter.
Everyone attending events must have either their Al Hosn green pass or proof of a negative PCR test from within 96 hours.
Needless to say, masks and social distancing (1.5m) are mandatory.
You can read more about the restrictions from the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority’s tweets.
Party hard but stay safe, my peeps!
