Qatar Airways resumes UAE flights: What travellers need to know

Qatar Airways has resumed flights to and from Dubai International Airport with immediate effect, bringing forward its earlier plan to restart services in June, the airline said.

The carrier has also resumed operations between Doha and Sharjah as it continues a phased restoration of its network following the partial reopening of Qatari airspace.

Other airlines, including flydubai, have restarted services to Doha after approval from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority. Flights are operating through designated air corridors.

Qatar Airways said it expects to expand operations to more than 150 destinations by June 16, with additional routes, including Syria, resuming from May 1. The revised schedule will remain in place until September 15.

Passengers booked between February 28 and September 15 are eligible for free date changes until October 31, with refunds available for unused tickets, the airline said.
