The month of blessings is closer than ever and the crescent is set to shine tomorrow.
The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday called on Muslims all over the world to sight the crescent on April 1 evening, which is the 29th of Shaban.
Ramadan begins once the crescent is sighted. During the holy month, the faithful start fasting from dawn to dusk.
In a statement, the Supreme Court said whoever sights the crescent to report to the nearest court and register their testimony.
They can also report to the region’s centre where they sighted the crescent.
