The Best of a New World: Expo 2020 Dubai’s Best Pavilions Revealed
Ladies and gentlemen. It is finally time to bid adieu to what will probably be one of the greatest events we have witnessed. In a matter of hours, Expo 2020 Dubai will shutter its gates.
However, it won’t be going out without a bang.
With over 200 pavilions, the competition to be among the best pavilions was stiff, with amazing designs and concept execution being par for the course. And now, at the awards ceremony held in Jubilee Park, the winners of the best pavilions were announced.
Split into five categories according to the size and type of pavilion, the awards recognise three aspects of pavilions: Architecture and landscape (for self-built pavilions only); exhibition design; and theme interpretation.
A total of 51 Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards were handed out during the ceremony, and here they are.
