AlHosn app green pass must to enter govt buildings from January 3
You’re going to need green to enter government buildings and offices from the beginning of the new year, and no, we don’t mean money!
The UAE has made it mandatory for those wishing to enter federal government entities to possess a green pass on the AlHosn app.
According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA), only fully vaccinated employees and visitors and those exempt from vaccination will be allowed to enter government institutions from January 3, 2022.
This includes everyone who has received two doses of any approved Covid-19 vaccine in the UAE as well as those jabbed with the booster doses. But, they will need to undergo a PCR test every 14 days to ensure the effectiveness of the green pass system in Al Hosn app.
The ministry added that employees and visitors who have not taken the Covid-19 shot will be denied entry in addition to those whose status appears in grey on the AlHosn app.
